Match 56" CA (Box-Delete Pickup) vs. 60" / 84" CA (True Cab & Chassis)
A pickup truck with the factory bed removed has a 56-inch Cab-to-Axle and contoured rear frame rails, requiring a specific 56" CA service body. A true Cab & Chassis features industry-standard 34-inch straight frame rails in 60" CA (for 9ft bodies) or 84" CA (for 11ft bodies).

Always verify whether your bare chassis is a 56" CA box-delete pickup or a 60"/84" CA Cab & Chassis before ordering a body. Step 2
Step 2 Verification
Spec Integral Torsion-Box Crane Reinforcement & Outriggers Above 3,200 lbs
Mounting a 4,000 lb to 7,500 lb telescopic crane on a standard sheet-metal service body will twist the body floor and overload the rear leaf springs. Crane bodies must include an integrated steel torsion box and rear outriggers that transfer lifting loads directly to the ground.
